As I'm about to turn off a road about a mile from my house this guy flys by me, had to be doing around 80. I hadn't had a race in a while and couldn't resist the chance at a new SS. So I follow the guy for about 5 miles, we're on a 2-lane road, he's behind a truck and I'm behind him. The truck slows down to turn and just as it turns off the SS guy punches it, for some reason I didn't take the bait, I had a weird feeling. Anyway, the guy in the SS then slows down and it happens there was a cop off on the side of the road about 1/4 mile up, I almost shit myself. I keep following the guy until we're way out of town. He slows to make a turn on a street which is about a 2-mile straight-away, so I know it's on. He makes the turn, and waits for me to get up his ass, I oblige. We're going about 20mph and he punches it, I'm about 2 cars back. I loose traction at the top of first and going into 2nd (damn Kuhmos), he's about four cars ahead. Second catches, I reel in about a 1.5 car lengths, shift to third and by the top of third I've just caught up to his bumper. Shift to forth and I'm still all over him, I let off about about 120mph, flash the guy and that was that. The SS's are very underated HP-wise, and it showed, I was really impressed with it. He appeared to be stock. I was running 13.5 lbs + intake.
